Acadia Homes For Sale

The neighbourhood of Acadia is nicely situated in the south west quadrant of Calgary as it lies in between the Macleod Trail and the Glenmore Trail. The land on which the community was to be built was integrated into the city in 1956 but the community was not actually developed until 1960. There is a mixture of residential properties, industrial properties and areas that are for recreational use within the community of Acadia as a whole. Acadia is an example of one of the earlier Genstar developments, ensuring that prospective buyers are assured that the community is fun, friendly and affordable. It is one of the most liked of the older communities as it has slopes that face to the east, making any of the Acadia homes for sale a great choice to enjoy the morning sun.

 

The Acadia community has a lot to offer purchasers of property in terms of recreation, education and accessibility to the major areas of the city. The community association has many facilities and recreational choices on offer including Senior Programs, sports programs and its own indoor skating rink.
