Coach Hill Community Info

Southwest Calgary is home to the wonderful community of Coach Hill. The neighbourhood is built on land that was integrated into the city in 1956 with the community being established in 1979. The name of the community comes from its proximity to the Old Banff Coach Road, which was used by traveler in their coaches to journey to Banff.

Coach Hill is bordered by the Sarcee Trail to the north and east, 69th Street to the west and the Bow Trail Extension to the south. This neighbourhood has a well established and vibrant community association and is represented in Calgary City Council by Ward 6.

 

Coach Hill has many great features, particularly the easy access to other parts of the city. Residents can use the Bow Trail to reach Downtown Calgary very easily.

Most of the properties in the neighborhood also offer fantastic views of the city and the Rocky Mountains. Residents can also enjoy a large area of green space which is located close to the community center. The center itself has a playground, an outdoor skating rink, baseball diamonds and basketball nets. Many programs are on offer including the Guides, Scouts, yoga classes, mums & tots sessions, a Bridge club and Tae Kwan Do.
