More About Calgary Duplexes

The main characteristic of Calgary duplexes is that they are virtually the same size as a single family unit but they are split into two individual properties. Normally, the properties are connected by a common vertical wall and have their own front and back entrances. Although there are a number of one-story Calgary duplexes to be found, the most common type occupies at least two storeys. People purchase Calgary duplexes for a number of reasons and there are several great advantages to buying this type of property:

 

 

  • Duplexes usually come with their own backyard and garage for each of the properties. This means that the owner can have their own individual space and are not cramped as you would be living in an apartment for example.

  • Calgary duplexes can be bought as one whole property.
