Northeast Calgary is a collection of 23 communities that offer a large number of single-family and multi-family homes. This is a great place for young families looking for homes near good schools, parks and shopping.

 

Northeast Calgary is bordered by the northeast city limits, south by 16th Avenue NE (Trans-Canada Highway) and to the east by Deerfoot Trail. It is part of the city wards 3, represented by Alderman Jim Stevenson, and 5, represented by Alderman Ray Jones.

Despite the relatively large population of 150,000, homes in NE Calgary remain largely single-family residences, with fewer row houses, condominiums and apartments, although these homestyles can all be found there. Many of the communities in this area have new construction and modern layouts.
