Sagewood is an established community on the west side of Airdrie.  The community is situated south of 1 Ave NW between 24 St SW to the west and Canals Blvd to the east.  Construction began in 2005 on this now complete neighbourhood which now boasts a population of 2,930 people.  The homes and multi-family buildings are an attractive mix of Prairie, Colonial Ranch and Heritage inspired form and architecture.  Single family homes are attached and detached with front and rear drive garages. Families enjoy the ability to walk or bike to schools in Airdrie. Schools such as Ralph McCall and Nose Creek Elementary are accepting younger students, with middle and high schools so close the car won’t even be warm by the time you arrive.  Daycare facilities are also available in the area.
